Endorsements

Our endorsed candidates have been vetted and signed our Liberty Compact, stating they agree with the following statement:

“I will work to restore liberty, not restrict it; shrink government, not expand it; reduce taxes, not raise them; abolish programs, not create them; promote the freedom and independence of citizens, not the interference of government in their lives; and observe the limited, enumerated powers of our Constitution, not ignore them.”

Endorsement Process:

Candidates for federal offices apply for recommendation with the RLC of Washington State, and the state board votes whether to recommend to the National RLC to endorse the candidate.

Candidates for state offices apply for endorsement with the RLC of Washington State, and the state board votes whether to endorse the candidate.

Candidates for offices which district lies completely within a county, apply for endorsement with their county RLC chapter. If a candidate’s district lies in more than one county, each county RLC chapter can recommend to the state chapter for endorsement.

YCRLC will consider the endorsement or recommendation of any Republican or non-partisan candidate who is vying to be an elected delegated authority within any part of Yakima County.
